Enterprise Sales Forecasting Tool
DiUS Computing Pty Ltd was engaged to build an Enterprise Sales Forecasting Tool which allows our client to forecast sales in Australia and internationally.
The tool was custom built using C#, .NET Framework 2.0, SQL Server 2005 including Reporting Services. It consolidates and analyses actual sales data from their ERP system to allow for sales forecasting by Customer/Prioduct/Region/Sales Representative.

Solution Overview:
The Enterprise Sales Forecasting Tool allows organisations to:
- To provide an effective method of analysing actual sales to determine trends in near real time;
- Enable the key business users to view information at a high level, aggregated by State, Customer, Product by Period (quarterly/monthly/weekly) across Sales Representatives;
- The ability to drill down into sales order detail;
- The ability to enter forecast information at a high level (State/Product) and apply these figures across Customers, Products, Sales Representatives, based on historical data from the previous 12 month period
- The ability to annotate reasons for variances to actual against forecast figures entered
- Report/highlight trends with the ability to analyse further in detail if required;
- Allow forecasts / budgets on a rolling 18 month period
- All actual sales, budgets and forecast information should be visible for easy comparison by State, Customer, Product by Period across Sales Representatives.
