How we do it
DiUS takes an open and collaborative approach to efficiently and cost-effectively translate business strategy into reality. This consultative approach results in tangible ideas ready for implementation, and empowers our customers and their stakeholders, ensuring they are in the driver’s seat throughout the product development process.
Our delivery process is based on ensuring the cost benefit of business case activities, by using effective communication strategies such as prototypes and proof of concepts. This provides a platform for clear, bi/multi-lateral understanding of the customer vision, and the means of delivery of this vision.
In turn this leads to a streamlined design phase, that produces a lightweight, flexible and validated architecture as the basis for the technical definition of the system. This architecture is validated and ‘de-risked’ via targeted technical spikes, that ensure technical issues are encountered and addressed early in the project lifecycle. The potential saving of cost and reduction of time to market impacts from this ‘de-risking’ exercise can save projects that would otherwise fail.
Consequently, the build project inherits a validated design, with higher predictability of effort and cost. The build phase is extremely flexible with frequent incremental releases of demonstrable, working software and can easily incorporate substituted or additional functionality to meet the customer’s business priorities.
In the real world these priorities can change, however this places you in the driver’s seat – and we can allow for changes in priority.
